Group Code of Conduct

Our Group (Pacific Sowa Corporation, Pacific Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd., Pacific Special Alloy Castings Co., Ltd., and Yonago Steel Co., Ltd.) established the Group Code of Conduct to share the values that executives and employees must adhere to in order to contribute to a sustainable society and continuously enhance corporate value as part of practicing sustainable management. All executives and employees of the Group shall comply with the following code of conduct in the execution of their duties.

Development and Provision of High-Quality Products and Services

We create innovations and solve societal challenges through digital transformation (DX), while consistently providing high-quality and safe products and services. By doing so, we satisfy and earn the trust of our stakeholders and achieve sustainable growth.

Fair Business Practices

We comply with laws and regulations, including competition laws, economic security, intellectual property protection, anti-bribery, insider trading, and conflicts of interest, both in Japan and in the countries and regions where we conduct business. We establish systems to ensure fair and equitable transactions throughout our supply chain.

Proper Information Management and Disclosure

We implement appropriate information security measures to manage and protect important information. At the same time, we disclose accurate information to stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner and actively engage in open communication.

Responsibilities of Top Management

The top management of each group company shall comply with this code of conduct, lead by example, and establish systems to ensure soundness, efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in management. Utilizing the internal reporting system, we will promptly investigate the cause of any code violations, work to prevent recurrences, and fulfill our responsibility to disclose accurate information and provide explanations.
